Educação e Incentivos nos EUA

A situação do sistema de educação pública norte -americano:

The United States is the richest country in the world, but American ninth graders rank 33rd in math, 23rd in science, and 16th in reading achievement.1 Seventy-seven percent of American students graduate from high school, which ranks the United States in the bottom third of OECD countries (OECD 2010). In large urban areas with high concentrations of blacks and Hispanics, educational attainment and achievement are even more bleak, with graduation rates as low as 31% in cities like Indianapolis (Swanson 2009). The performance of black and Hispanic students on international assessments is roughly equal to national performance in Mexico and Turkey—two of the lowest performing OECD countries.
